Day1Arrive & Drive to Sigiriya
Arrive in Colombo and drive north to Sigiriya, with the evening at your hotel.
Day2Sigiriya Rock & Dambulla
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress at dawn for the frescoes and summit palace, then the Dambulla Golden Cave Temples in the afternoon.
Day3Sigiriya to Kandy
Drive to Kandy via a spice garden, arriving for the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and a Kandyan cultural show.
Day4Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Into the hill country with a tea plantation and factory visit and waterfall stops.
Day5Scenic Train to Ella
The hill-country train ride to Ella, then the Nine Arch Bridge in the afternoon.
Day6Ella to Yala
Little Adam's Peak in the morning, then the drive to Yala and your safari lodge.
Day7Yala Safari & Bentota
Dawn jeep safari in Yala for leopards and elephants, then on to Bentota for the beach.
Day8Galle Fort
The Dutch-colonial Galle Fort and its ramparts, lighthouse and lanes, returning to Bentota for sunset.
Day9Colombo & Departure
Drive to Colombo for final shopping, then your airport transfer.
